Project Open House, the symbol begins

The mocking jay was going to be the fun part of this project, mostly because on the cover the whole thing is just shades of gold. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but I'm not that great when it comes to painting; in terms of art, paint has always been my weak point.

With silver being her class color, the symbol is easy switched to that. The school mascot is also a cardinal, which made this transformation so much nicer and kept closer to that of the book. Finally, the diploma scroll replaces the arrow that the mocking jay holds.
